The problem
The same person, filed three times.
Someone enrols in a program, comes back for counselling, then applies again a year later. In most systems that is three unrelated rows — three histories, three phone numbers, and no way to see that they are one person you have been supporting for years.
Matched on normalised email and phone, never on name alone. Every legacy record stays linked, so the original paperwork is one click away.
In the deployment this was built for, 203 of 217 program applicants turned out to be people the organisation already knew. Only 14 were genuinely new.

Identity, eligibility and provenance on the left; a working timeline in the middle. Log a call, note or meeting and it stays with the person — not with whichever file it was typed into.

Isolation at the database
Each organisation's data is separated by security rules in the database itself, not only by application code.
Role-based access
Six staff roles, from full administrator to read-mostly support. Permissions are checked on the server for every request.
Append-only audit trail
Who changed what, and when. Entries are attributed to the signed-in user and cannot be edited afterwards.
Automated backups
Scheduled daily, weekly and monthly exports of the whole database, in a format that restores.
Invite-only staff
Nobody self-registers into your organisation. An administrator invites each colleague and assigns their role.
